Charles McKee, one of the whistleblowers killed when PanAm 103 came down over Lockerbie. US spooks were waiting in Lockerbie to remove certain evidence. 

William Chasey is president of the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility, a non-governmental organisation.

He became involved with Libya and the Lockerbie investigation when he was a lobbyist in Washington.

"On behalf of business clients, I went on a lobbying mission in 1992 with a US congressman in a bid to stabilise relations between the US and Gaddafi's hated regime," he said.

He says he was taken to a private meeting with the two Lockerbie accused at a house in Tripoli.

"Myself and the congressman and his wife then met Gaddafi and heard his pleas for help within Washington to get sanctions lifted, and heard his claims that Libya was not involved in Lockerbie," Chasey said.CIA 'wanted to kill Lockerbie bomber before trial'



In 1995, Chasey wrote a book, Foreign Agent 4221: The Lockerbie Cover-Up, which claimed Libya was not responsible for the bombing.

The US government decided to take revenge on Chasey, and he was investigated by the FBI.

"The FBI investigation, along with a probe by the US tax service, damaged my business and put incredible pressure on my wife, Virginia, and our young daughter Katie," he said.

He said: "I was hit with 21 felony charges over crimes including wire fraud, mail fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, even larceny and forgery over allegations I stole headed notepaper from congressional offices."

In 1998 Chasey was contacted by the CIA at Dulles Airport in Washington.

"An agent approached me and asked if I could meet again with Megrahi and Fhimah to pinpoint their location so the CIA could assassinate them. In return, the charge would be dropped and my record expunged," he said.

"My belief is that the CIA wanted the suspects eliminated to stop any trial taking place...."

Chasey was sent to jail.
He said: "I was sent to Allenwood Federal Prison in Pennsylvania and was amazed when I was joined in the canteen one day by the same CIA agent and one of his colleagues, dressed as inmates.

"They offered to free me and clear my record, but I said I would not take part in their plot to put electronic homing devices in the suspects' residences so they could be targeted...."

On Jan. 30, 1990, Tony Gauci was shown a SLALOM shirt and was asked if he had sold one to the mysterious buyer (alleged to be Megrahi). Dr Jim Swire, whose daughter Flora, 23, died in the bombing, believes Megrahi was innocent.

"I think Bill Chasey is telling the truth about the CIA," says Swire. "He is a respected philanthropist and was a leading lobbyist in Washington, so he's not a crank."

Los dos agentes del FBI que murieron en extrañas circunstancias la semana pasada formaban parte del equipo de élite que encargado de detener a los sospechosos de los atentados de Boston.

 

Los agentes Christopher Lorek y Stephen Shaw eran miembros del Equipo de Rescate de Rehenes del buró de investigaciones, el mismo grupo que participó en la captura de Dzhojar Tsarnáyev y que abatió a su hermano Tamerlán, los sospechosos de fraguar el atentado de Boston, informó el diario de Virginia 'Pilotonline'.

El FBI se limitó a informar que los agentes especiales murieron el pasado viernes durante un ejercicio de entrenamiento frente a la costa de Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Los medios locales de Norfolk (Virginia) indicaron que los experimentados agentes fallecieron en un accidente durante ejercicios de entrenamiento en los que debían descender en cuerdas desde un helicóptero hacia un barco.

No obstante, más tarde una portavoz del FBI de la base de Quantico, Ann Todd, comentó a Interfax “para aclarar la verdad”, que “los mismos agentes especiales Christopher Lorek y Stephen Shaw  no estaban presentes en Watertown el 19 de abril [día que fue capturado uno de los presuntos autores del atentado en Boston]  y, por consiguiente, no participaron en la captura de Dzhojar Tsarnáyev”.

Obama would do well to contemplate the fate of Nixon, and reserve a half-hour of air time with the main television networks for some time in the next month. He could use this time to regretfully detail the extent of an attempted military coup coordinated with the November 2012 elections, and seeking to install Romney in the White House in defiance of the popular will. He could point out that the Benghazi incident was simply a key moment in the unfolding of this coup. They could then detail the large number of government officials, generals, admirals, members of Congress, pollsters, defense industry executives, and others who have been ousted or otherwise neutralized over the past several months, generally on grounds of sexual or financial malfeasance. Once the influence of this cabal is permanently liquidated, it will prove much easier for Obama to put a definitive end to the Afghanistan war, and to avoid a catastrophic US involvement in Syria. Otherwise common the current administration will face a series of catastrophic defeats culminating in impeachment.

The so-called US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was in fact a CIA station with more than 50 personnel on hand to maintain liaison with the Al Qaeda death squads deployed by NATO intelligence in 2010 and 2011 for the purpose of overthrowing the Libyan government of Colonel Muammar Qaddafi. 

 

 

Zealously seeking issues to use against the Obama White House, the reactionary Republicans of the US House of Representatives last week once again dredged up the Benghazi incident of September 11, 2012 in the form of a full-blown media circus centering on hearings by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, chaired by Congressman Darrell Issa.  

 

Long deprived of foreign policy issues to exploit for political gain, and fearing the political backlash from their usual expedient of trying to start a new war, the Republican reactionaries are doing everything possible to create popular hysteria reminiscent of the final phases of the Watergate scandal four decades ago.

GOP Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, desperately seeking to stave off a political challenge by Tea Party fanatics, says that a new Watergate is in the air. The troglodyte Senator Imhofe of Oklahoma is busily invoking the specter of Obama’s impeachment, a project in which he is joined by failed Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. House Speaker John Boehner wants to open a fishing expedition among the e-mails of the White House. The pseudo-libertarian Rand Paul has already announced that the Benghazi incident shows that Hillary Clinton, still the most likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2016, should never hold high public office again. Few indeed are the Republican congressmen who have not found a way to pop off about Benghazi.

These farnetications by themselves would be of limited interest, were it not for a recent change in the attitude of the controlled corporate media, reflecting in turn a shift in the attitude of the US ruling class towards the Obama regime. Up until now, harping on the Benghazi incident has tended to be limited to Fox News, controlled by the British Empire’s right-wing billionaire Rupert Murdoch, and a gaggle of extremist radio talk show hosts. But now, other propaganda channels have joined in: Cheryl Atkisson of CBS news is now working on the story full-time, and Jonathan Karl at ABC news is attempting to catch up. National Public Radio, the Washington Post, and the Associated Press have developed new interest in a story they have long dismissed. For virtually the first time, Jay Carney’s daily White House press briefing is turning into a hostile confrontation, rather than a liturgy of adoration for Obama.

As predicted here several months ago, Obama is falling prey to the familiar destructive pattern of the second term: once an administration has been in power for four years, a backlog of abuse, scandals, corruption, and malfeasance builds up. The ruling financier oligarchy, always interested in weakening the office of the presidency, and anxious to keep the president on a short leash at a time when he otherwise might feel free to attempt new initiatives, has instructed its journalistic minions to increase the hostility to Obama. Obama himself has also helped to bring this moment about - by refusing to come forward with a job creation and economic recovery program for his second term, despite continued mass unemployment, by proposing to shift the cost of the Depression to the middle class and working families through his savage proposal to gouge the Social Security benefit by instituting the so-called Chained CPI, and also by an additional $400 billion in Medicare cuts. These are the third rail of American politics, and Obama has embraced them with reckless abandon.

For the average person, an understanding of Benghazi is made almost impossible by the accumulated lies and fictions of a dozen years of the fraudulent Global War on Terror. Dispense with the myths, and the underlying reality is brutally simple.

An October surprise that came early
The Benghazi incident of September 11, 2012 was an October surprise which arrived a few weeks early. Its goal was to help defeat Obama, and to install the Romney in the White House. (Interestingly, the name of Romney was never mentioned during the entire five-hour length of the Issa committee hearings.) There are tell-tale signs that the Benghazi incident was deliberately orchestrated by a cabal of generals and admirals favorable to Romney. Many of these flag officers have been removed from their posts over the past several months, but their ouster has generally been attributed to financial or sexual misdeeds. Even though Obama was primarily the target of the Benghazi incident, partisan Republicans are attempting anyway to blame him for, betting and Obama is too cowardly to go public with charges of what amounts to an attempted military coup in 2012. This is folly, since Obama’s inaction leaves much of the rogue military network intact and capable of striking again.

Hillary Clinton was interested in building up the US presence in Benghazi in order to handle the growing workload generated by the airlift and sealift involved in this operation. By September, 2012 NATO was in the process of transferring large numbers of these terrorist fighters, along with weaponry plundered from the arms depots of Colonel Qaddafi, into Syria -- with the goal of stoking a civil war against Assad government. This transfer was being accomplished by way of southern Turkey, which explains why Ambassador Stevens’ last official meeting was with a Turkish diplomat.

The Obama administration showed reckless disregard for probable political retribution when it embarked on a policy of systematically using Al Qaeda terrorists in the form of secret armies to destabilize and overthrow several regimes in the Arab world. Awareness of this colossal vulnerability may also explain why the Obama White House has been so reticent to provide basic information about the Benghazi incident.

Security was lax at the Benghazi facility because Ambassador Stevens and his State Department and CIA colleagues had been working closely with the Libyan jihadis for many months on redeploying these fanatical fighters to the Syrian front. As I reported in 2011, the Benghazi-Derna-Tobruk corridor had been identified by the United States Army some years earlier as the world’s most productive breeding ground for suicide bombers destined for the conflict in Iraq. The US intelligence community had decided to mobilize those fighters for the overthrow first of Qaddafi, and then of Assad.

Dos semanas después de los atentados de Boston, las autoridades estadounidenses siguen destilando uno a uno los indicios que dicen haber ido encontrando. Todo gira alrededor del origen checheno de los «culpables» y de las conclusiones que habría que sacar de ese factor. Mientras tanto, los internautas y la prensa rusa han sacado a la luz una historia diferente, en la que el «culpable» principal es un agente de la CIA.

 

Dos semanas después del atentado de Boston, perpetrado el 15 de abril de 2013 a las 14 horas 49 minutos, las autoridades estadounidenses atribuyen la responsabilidad de ese hecho a los hermanos Tamerlán y Dzhokar Tsarnaev. Dicen haber matado a Tamerlán, el mayor de los dos, y haber arrestado a su hermano menor y cómplice. Este último, de sólo 19 años, está supuestamente hospitalizado y debido a sus heridas parece que sólo puede expresarse por movimientos de la cabeza. Así todo, se nos dice que ya reconoció los hechos que se le imputan a él y a su hermano mayor.

 

Nada se ha aclarado sobre las circunstancias que rodearon la muerte de Tamerlán y, posteriormente, la captura de Dzhokhar. Parece que los hermanos se vieron afectados por el «síndrome de Oswald», que los llevó a destacarse de la muchedumbre anónima asesinando, sin razón ni testigos, a un policía de la universidad. Después se apoderaron de un Mercedes y retuvieron a su anónimo chofer, al que obligaron a retirar 800 dólares en un cajero automático. Y fue al parecer esa persona quien indicó a la policía que los dos hermanos habían dicho en su presencia que eran ellos los autores del doble atentado contra el Maratón de Boston.

 

Hasta este momento, la prensa no ha podido ver al sospechoso ni oír al testigo y no ha hecho más que repetir las declaraciones de los padres y de los amigos de los dos hermanos, todos tremendamente asombrados de verlos implicados en ese asunto.

 

De todas maneras, la jueza Marianne B. Bowler inculpó a Dzhokhar por «uso de armas de destrucción masiva», en este caso ollas de presión (también conocidas como ollas exprés) llenas de pólvora y clavos. Es la primera vez que se aplica la noción de «arma de destrucción masiva» a un artículo doméstico de uso corriente.

 

Por su parte, el líder demócrata de la Comisión de la Cámara de Representantes que se ocupa de los servicios de inteligencia, Dutch Ruppersberger, afirmó a la salida de una reunión a puertas cerradas con varios responsables de 3 de esas agencias que los hermanos Tsarnaev habían utilizado un control remoto de juguete para desencadenar las explosiones de sus dos bombas. El congresista ve en ese detalle la confirmación de que los sospechosos aprendieron a fabricar las bombas leyendo Inspire, la publicación electrónica firmada por «al-Qaeda en la península arábiga». Sin embargo, aunque el número 1 de esa publicación –fechado en el «verano de 2010»– explica detalladamente cómo hacer una bomba con una olla de presión, lo cierto es que no aparece allí absolutamente nada sobre la utilización de un control remoto de juguete para detonar un explosivo instalado dentro de una olla de presión cerrada.

 

Todo ese ruido mediático gira alrededor de una sola conclusión: los hermanos Tsarnaev eran chechenos, lo cual pone a Rusia en el centro del debate. El presidente Vladimir Putin evitó discretamente las preguntas sobre el tema, en el marco de una larga sesión de respuestas al pueblo en la que participó el pasado jueves. ¿Terroristas chechenos? También los hay en Siria, donde acaban de secuestrar a dos obispos ortodoxos. Y también puede haberlos en Sochi, cuando se celebren allí los próximos Juegos Olímpicos. Es interés de Rusia fortalecer la cooperación antiterrorista con Estados Unidos, sobre todo si tiene verdaderamente intenciones de desplegar tropas de la Organización del Tratado de Seguridad Colectiva (OTSC) en Siria.

 

Mientras tanto, los internautas se dividen entre los que siguen la hipótesis del FBI y los que la cuestionan. Dos grandes objeciones circulan actualmente a través de Internet.

La primera acusa a los servicios de seguridad de haber montado la puesta en escena de personajes cargados de historias y emociones. Imágenes extraídas de un video muestran a dos personas que parecen trabajar sobre el cuerpo de Jeff Bauman, un hombre que asistía al Maratón de Boston y que al parecer perdió las dos piernas en una de las explosiones. Se afirma que esta persona es en realidad el teniente del ejército estadounidense Nick Vogt, quien perdió las piernas en Kandahar en noviembre de 2011. Y resulta en realidad sorprendente observar que, en las fotos del 15 de abril, se ve a «Jeff Bauman» con la cabeza erguida todo el tiempo, que no se aprecian huellas de hemorragia a pesar de que lo transportan en una silla de ruedas y también que –como puede apreciarse en la foto– el torniquete que se ve en lo que queda de su pierna derecha no está fuertemente apretado. Estos detalles cobran aún más importancia cuando se sabe que el testimonio de «Jeff Bauman» permitió identificar a los sospechosos (conferencia de prensa del 18 de abril de 2013 a las 17 horas y 20 minutos).

La segunda objeción tiene que ver con la presencia en lugar de los hechos –antes y durante las explosiones– de un equipo de seguridad, probablemente del ejército privado Craft International, cuyos miembros parecen llevar mochilas similares a la que mostró el FBI afirmando que había contenido una de las ollas-bomba.

 

 

Pero no es eso lo más sorprendente. Ahora resulta que un ejercicio antibomba tuvo lugar en Boston, sólo 2 horas antes del drama y en el preciso lugar donde explotaron las verdaderas bombas. Sin embargo, cuando un periodista mencionó el hecho en la conferencia de prensa del FBI, el agente especial Richard Deslauriers se negó a responder y pidió que le preguntaran otra cosa.

Para terminar, según la edición del 24 de abril del cotidiano ruso Izvestia, Tamerlán Tsarnaev participó –en la Georgia ex soviética– en un seminario del Fondo para el Cáucaso, asociación pantalla de la Jamestown Foundation, creada por la CIA. El joven checheno siguió allí un entrenamiento para «aumentar la inestabilidad en Rusia» [1]. En una nota de protesta, el Fondo del Cáucaso desmiente y afirma que se trata de otra organización identificada con el mismo nombre [2].

 

Es demasiado pronto aún para sacar conclusiones sobre lo que realmente sucedió en Boston. Pero ya hay algo seguro: la versión de la policía es falsa.

April 19, 2013 (LD) - What appear to be private contractors, wearing unmarked, matching uniforms and operating an unmarked SUV affixed with communication equipment near the finish line of the Boston Marathon shortly after the bomb blasts - can be seen beforehand, standing and waiting just meters away from where the first bomb was detonated. The contractor-types had moved away from the bomb's location before it detonated, and could be seen just across the street using communication equipment and waiting for similar dressed and equipped individuals to show up after the blasts.

The men, numbering between 6-8 then begin tearing up the skirting around temporary bleachers erected for the event, opposite the explosion, before taping it off. Then, what appears to be an FBI bomb squad truck pulls up directly behind the contractor-types' SUV, with a woman clearly wearing the letters F.B.I. on her tactical vest emerging and speaking with the contractor-types. Together they disappear from the scene, leaving their vehicles behind.

It should be noted, that with the exception of the contractor-types, all other responders at the scene, including the FBI agent, can be clearly identified, from police to the fire department, to medics and even individuals wearing vests with "B.A.A. Physician" written on them. It should also be noted that no other uniformed individuals can be seen standing near the bomb site aside from the contractor-types.

These men were unidentified, professional contractors apparently augmenting public servants at the Boston Marathon, present before and after the bomb blasts in the direct vicinity of the incident. After the blasts, whether it was their intended function or not, they appeared to be searching for something under the bleachers before being joined by what appears to be the FBI bomb squad. The FBI and the city of Boston has so far categorically failed to provide any information on these highly suspicious individuals.

Questions That Must be Answered 


Several questions must be answered by the FBI, leading the investigation on behalf of we, the American people. The first question is who these men were, with large, black bags in the direct vicinity of where a bomb would detonate, moving away before the blast, and appearing directly across the road afterward. Who hired them and what was their function? Why were they moving amongst the crowd in a semi-covert fashion when all other public servants present were wearing proper uniforms and clearly identified? Did police, firefighters, event organizers, and medics know these men were present and what they were doing?

Why did it appear that the FBI was fully aware of their presence, and in fact working with them, specifically with what looks like a bomb squad unit? Were these contractors specialists in explosives, and if so, what is the significance that at least two of them were spotted just meters from where the blast occurred? 
Why These Questions Demand Answers

The checkered, frightening history (see: FBI's History of Handing "Terror Suspects" Live Explosives) of the FBI's involvement in fomenting false terror attacks, and even presiding over attacks that succeeded in maiming and killing innocent people, should call into question their presence or involvement at any public event, especially when seen associating with unidentified, semi-clandestine organizations that appear to be private contractors.

Private contractors as well, do not answer or work for the public, but rather the highest bidder. Private contractors, most notably Blackwater and its various incarnations have operated both domestically and abroad, committing obscene crimes and atrocities with seemingly absolute impunity. The term "defense contractor" is in fact a euphemism for mercenary, and has no place in a civilized, democratic world, no matter what their alleged mission statement may claim.

That both of these nefarious entities were present and cooperating in the direct vicinity of the Boston bombings, with at least two contractors standing just meters away from where the bomb actually went off, raises a number of possibilities and concerns. A drill may have been being conducted, though the FBI and city officials have denied this. Or, a threat may have been communicated to event organizers ahead of time, which prompted the inclusion of "auxiliary" security, though again, both the FBI and the city of Boston deny receiving any information prior to the bombings. Whichever contracting firm this may have been, may just have wanted to swindle Boston's taxpayers for an easy payday, and coincidentally found itself in the middle of extraordinary circumstances.

However, alarming suspicion is raised when the FBI makes no mention of an organization it was clearly coordinating with, particularly in terms of bombs and explosives before and after the incident, considering the nature of the attack. When an already dubious organization attempts to obfuscate the facts of any given event, it is the right and responsibility of legitimate law enforcement, public representatives and the citizenry itself to demand and get answers. If we are not persistent, with the FBI's bizarre behavior over the past few days, including inexplicably cancelled and suspiciously rushed press conferences, and now what appears to be a Hollywood ending for the case, we may never get those answers.

Un participante habla de que, en la salida, mucho antes de las explosiones, ya había megáfonos advirtiendo de que "esto sólo es un simulacro", perros policía, seguridad en los tejados... como nunca antes se había vigilado un maratón.

¿Pudiera ser un simulacro de atentado hecho por la policía en paralelo con los verdaderos terroristas, infiltrados en los cuerpos de seguridad...
